It will depend on the skin mostly. Some will be able to be purchased for in game currency in the normal shops, and others for second currency that is bought with real money. The second currency can be earned through the game as well though, so it won't be totally impossible to get! I don't want us to be "pay-to-win", but there will be options available for those who have the money in order to help fund the site. Sometimes skins will go on sale or even given away for free when the userbase accomplishes something awesome like a world quest together or gets a large amount of referrals in a month, etc. (: Aha awesome! Can't wait to test these features out! I just generally love sites where there is a possibility to collect, is Beast Summoners like that? I'm just like, if you were to add a maximum limit of 'beasts' we can have (for example something super low, like 6) I would immediately lose my interest xD I had thought of limits for just legendaries since they will be different, as in one individual in an entire species (so you wouldn't see a legendary unicorn, you'd see beasts with actual names like Fenrir, the Black Shuck, Cerberus, etc). But I decided against it pretty quick lol. It will be hard enough to obtain them anyway, so there's no reason for limits on anything that i can forsee anyway. (:

(: You mean like, one entire pet across the whole site? You can do that, but at least call them costumes then. I don't think that's really necessary though, just add those skins to the site and everyone will be happy But I was more or less talking about a limit of beasts one can own on his or her profile.

As in, each player can have only one Fenrir, one Cerberus, one Black Shuck, one etc legendary each lol. If that makes sense. But I probably won't do that. xP But yes, definitely will have the skins! Multiple skins can be applied to a beast if the player chooses, so you can switch and cycle between your favorite beast's skins whenever you want so long as you have those skins applied. Maybe for battling you want your unicorn to have that "evil" skin you bought months ago to intimidate your enemies, and then the same day if you enter that same beast into a beauty competition, you might want to switch to the flowery skin you received from participating in a quest.

Ooh switching between skins would actually be pretty cool! And maybe a list of the skins added to a beast can be shown on the profile of that particular beast too? Would definitely be interested in seeing how that works!

Maybe by default every beast has a little area to show all skins available for it, but if the skins aren't purchased they will be greyed out. Once one is purchased it will show in full opacity and color and can be applied. (:

This way collectors can just have one pet of each species if they want and add all the skins to that species and it would show which ones they were still missing et cetera (or if they have completed it!).

Wow, I just read this thread, and Alpha testers seem to get pretty nifty perks. I love when achievements are given exclusively to certain people, it makes those people feel special, I guess. I can't wait for this game to become more popular, I think once everything is sorted this will be an extremely successful turnout.
